Charles Dudouyt Art Deco Lounge Chair in Solid Oak and Papercord
Charles Dudouyt, lounge chair, oak, paper cord, France, 1940s
Decorative lounge chair by Charles Dudouyt. The frame has multiple carved details that add up to a complex whole. Carved lines and circular ends, straight and round parts come together to form a rather striking Art Deco chair. Special feature is the flexible backrest that can be moved all the way towards the seat. Webbed paper cord as the material for the seat adds a natural character to the patinated frames and the overall design.
Please note that this chair is in good, used condition.
