Carlo Nason for Mazzega Rare Chandelier in Murano Glass and Brass

$11,000.00

Carlo Nason for Mazzega, chandelier, murano glass, brass, Italy, 1970s

This artistic ceiling lamp is a rare find and created by the Italian glass artist Carlo Nason. This piece embodies a biomorphic soul made possible by the property of blown Murano glass. A beautifully curved construction, a slightly wider body at the top that flows into a narrower shape. The Murano displays a mottled surface of white spots inconsistent in size. This, in combination with the graceful relief, results in an aesthetically pleasing and atmospheric light partition. With a height of 100 cm (39.4 in.), this light sculpture will certainly make any room come to life due to its pronounced curves and expressive character.
