Rare set of armchairs designed by Swedish designer Carl Malmsten. These chairs contain a warm walnut frame which is nicely visible, and the grain pattern comes out beautifully as seen for example on the armrests. The unique lines and curves of the design are striking and the small tapered legs complements its shapes beautifully. The seating is upholstered in black leather which shows a nice patina suitable for the age of these chairs. Along the outer lines the upholstery is fastened with brass nails which also functions as a decorative detail. The tufted leather backrest is left open above the seating.
