Carl Malmsten Dining Chair in Teak and Purple Upholstery

$950.00

Attributed to Carl Malmsten, armchair, teak, fabric, Sweden, 1950s.

Dining chair in purple upholstery attributed to Carl Malmsten (1888-1972). The unique lines and curves of the design are striking and the tapered wooden legs complement its shape beautifully. Highly comfortable and qualitative armchairs. These dining conference chairs come directly from a Swedish boardroom and provide the flair and sophistication of the best Swedish mid-modern design. The chairs have a worldly grandeur yet remain simple and functional at the same time.
Please note that the fabric is in fair condition with loose seams and wear. Reupholstery is possible before shipping by our experienced craftsman and -women in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
