This bookcase is designed by the Finnish designer Carl Gustaf Hiort. It is build out of several wooden elements in different natural colors, resulting in a clear, architectural piece that is flexible in use. The base consists out of three black tripod legs. On top of that is a thick teak plank followed by a white shelving system that is completely adjustable and can therefore be arranged in such a manner that the user will suit best. The open construction allows the user to display objects such as books and glassware to one’s taste.
