Brazilian Reupholstered Rosewood High Back Chairs
Pair of lounge chairs, in rosewood, metal and velvet, Brazil, 1960s.
Three shells, which consist of bended rosewood plywood, are combined by metal elements that connect the shells with each other. Exceptional are the sled or slipper legs in metal and rosewood, which is not common for this type of lounge chairs. The backs of these two chairs is almost identical meaning that they have been made from the same piece of rosewood. They are upholstered by the in-house upholstery studio in high quality grey fabric.
