Set of three stools of the famous model 'Les Arcs' by French architect and designer Charlotte Perriand. The simplistic design consist of a tubular steel frame with a seating of thick black saddle leather. The black leather and Industrial black lacquered steel give the stools a minimalistic yet chique look.
Les Arcs, a ski resort in the Alps in the southeastern of France, was one of the largest built projects of Charlotte Perriand's (1903-1999) career. Quality and harmony were two principles, strengthen by simplicity and force. The resort should be an integrated resort were sports and cultural activities met. She designed a series of furniture for this project by the name Arc Mobilier, including these stools.
