Björn Hulten for Berga Form Lounge Chair in Teak and Off-White Canvas

$1,800.00

Björn Hulten for Berga Form, lounge chair, model 'H55', teak, fabric, Sweden, 1950s.

Modest lounge chair designed by Swedish designer Bjorn Hulten in 1955. This 'H55' model was originally designed to use both indoors as outdoors. The teak wooden construction with exposed legs, two joined parallel trapezoids, gives the recliner a completely different stability than the usual garden chair. Overall, an elegant lounge chair that provides the required comfort when sunbathing in an outdoor area.

Please note that the canvas is in overall good condition but does show some signs of age and use. Reupholstery is possible before use. This can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsman in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come.
