Center or dining table, resin, plastic, metal, bone, Belgium, 1970s
This luxurious and wonderful resin dining table is a designed in the style of Belgian designers Jean Claude Dresse and Roger Vanhevel. This extraordinary piece is crafted with great eye for proportions and detail. The table consists of a resin tabletop with an inlay of bone, finished with a transparent coating. The square shape of the tabletop is emphasized by the detailed inlays in the middle which repeat this square motif. This tabletop is resting on metal feet that have an architectural aesthetics. In a way, the tabletop almost floats, which gives this heavy and sturdy table an interesting lightness. In general, the astonishing dining table radiates an alluring, chic aesthetic.
Please note that the tabletop shows signs of wear and use. Restoration is possible before shipping by our experienced craftsman in our own in-house restoration atelier.
