Center or dining table, resin, plastic, metal, bone, Belgium, 1970s

This luxurious and wonderful resin dining table is a designed in the style of Belgian designers Jean Claude Dresse and Roger Vanhevel. This extraordinary piece is crafted with great eye for proportions and detail. The table consists of a resin tabletop with an inlay of bone, finished with a transparent coating. The square shape of the tabletop is emphasized by the detailed inlays in the middle which repeat this square motif. This tabletop is resting on metal feet that are almost architectural. In a way, the tabletop almost floats, which gives this heavy and sturdy table an interesting lightness. In general, the astonishing dining table radiates an alluring, chic aesthetic.

Please note that the tabletop shows signs of wear and use. With high attention for the original, the experienced craftsmen in our in-house atelier make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. Of course, a locally organized restoration is possible as well.
