Belgian Brutalist Sideboard in Black Lacquered Oak

This Belgian sideboard by features a clear rhythm and flow established by means of a well thought through lay out that is utterly well-balanced. The carved geometrical shapes on the door panels immediately catch the eye and are the signature for this item; a design that is established during the seventies when Brutalism was at his highest level specifically in Belgium. The design convinces visually through repetitive and asymmetrical pattern on the front of the sideboard and the stabile construction. Another feature that is very attractive are the round keys that are situated on the higher part of the sideboard that break up the dark and solid piece.
