Augusto Savini Set of Four 'Pamplona' Chairs with Burgundy Glossed Frame
Augusto Savini for Pozzi, set of 4 ‘Pamplona’ armchairs, beige colored leather, ashwood, metal, Italy, 1960s.
Set of four armchairs in high gloss red burgundy wood and beige suede. The chairs have a unique and characteristic design; simplistic yet very architectural, both in lines and proportions. The design features a wonderful bentwood frame, starting from the front leg which runs over into the armrests and ends in the rear leg. The square aluminium element on the back emphasize the architectural and modern expression of the chairs. The sand colored upholstery of both the seat and back form a beautiful, contrasting combination with the dark red high gloss lacquered wood.
The upholstery and wooden frame are in good condition and shows signs of age and use. Please ask our advisors for more information about the almost endless possibilities for customizing these chairs to your wishes, for example to recolor the frame. The professional and experienced craftsmen in our in-house atelier are specialists in the reupholstery and restoration of design furniture. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value.
