Ate van Apeldoorn Pair of Lounge Chairs in Ash and Black Leather

Ate van Apeldoorn for Houtwerk Hattem, pair of lounge chairs, ash, leather, The Netherlands, 1960s

The founder of Houtwerk Hattem, Ate van Apeldoorn, designed this lounge chair in the early 1960s. It features high-quality craftsmanship that can be seen in the wood joints on the frame. Two square shaped frames on both sides hold the rods for the leather seat and backrest. The overall design is characterized by a balanced and sturdy appearance.

Please note that we advise reupholstery and restoration before use. This can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsman in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery and restoration is possible as well.
