This large Art Deco sideboard in oak by Vittorio Valabrega features not only visual qualities but also great storage space. Six doors are structuring the outside and are furnished with separate locks. The sideboard contains an extendable dresser table between the upper and lower compartment. Notable detail are the chamfered front edges of the top in combination with the carved vertical lines, which are characteristic for Vittorio Valabrega's style. Vittorio Valabrega (1861–1952) is an Italian furniture designer. He opened the "Valabrega Brothers" company in 1884. It became known for the production of fine-quality liberty-style furniture. Vittorio Valabrega became the owner of the company in the mid-1890s. His furniture designs are known for using exclusive materials and fine craftsmanship. His son Ernesto Valabrega followed his father’s footsteps.
