Art Deco Lounge Chairs in Green Velours 1940s
Pair of lounge chairs, oak and green velours, France, 1940s.
Rounded, comfortable chairs with a high back in a green fabric upholstery. The chairs are modest yet very well designed with the upswooping armrests and the almost perfect rounded chape seen from the top. The seat is thick adding a lumpy and comfortable look. Finished with a sculptural oak stained legs.
The chairs are upholstered in a green velours upholstery which is in used condition. Some spots of fading are visible. Reupholstery is possible as well in case you prefer a different color or type of fabric. The professional and experienced craftsmen in our in-house atelier are specialists in the reupholstery of design furniture. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value.
