Art Deco Armchairs by Maurice Rinck in Leather
Maurice Rinck, armchairs, reddish brown leather, beech France, 1940s
Grand and comfortable set of two club chairs in leather upholstery. Truly extraordinary and luxurious chairs that feature a deep seat and large rounded, curved armrests. The backrests are noteworthy, featuring a subtle yet elegant curves. The squared feet form a striking combination with the rounded sofa. Maurice Rinck was a French decorator and a peer of Jean Royere and Jules Leleu. His aesthetics shows trades of Royere in its bulky and rounded shapes.
