Arne Jacobsen Pair of Lounge Chairs for Fritz Hansen
Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen, pair of lounge chairs, plywood and leather, Denmark, 1960.
This sturdy pair of lounge chairs, designed by Arne Jacobsen, are made in leather and darkened plywood. The seat is floating, thanks to the inventive wooden frame. Therefore, the seat is very comfortable, as it forms itself to the body. The frame is built op from wooden panels, no joints needed. The wooden panels are clamped to each other.
