Arne Hovmand-Olsen dining chairs, teak, leatherette, Denmark, 1960s
Set of twelve dining chairs designed by the Danish designer Arne Hovmand-Olsen. The chairs have a very simple and organic design. The rounded back goes in one flowing motion into the armrest and into the seating. The black leatherette creates an exiting interruption in the flow, wrapping the back of the chair tightly in the upholstery . Ensuring a beautiful contrast between the black leatherette upholstery and the warm color of the teak.
Please note that we advise reupholstery before use. This can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsman in our own in-house restoration atelier. The wooden frame of the chairs are in overall good condition with some signs of age and use and with some minor differences in color. With high attention for the original, our craftsmen make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come.
