Afra and Tobia Scarpa Set of Eight 'Dialogo' Cognac Leather Dining Chairs
Afra and Tobia Scarpa for B&B Italia, large set of dining chairs, cognac leather and wood, Italy, 1974.
This set of armchairs is both slender and firm at the same time. The leather seat and back very thin but strong thanks to the wood that is used to strengthen the chair. The geometric legs are another strong feature that, combined with the seat and back, make this a very architectural design. The color of the cognac leather with the deep soft brown of the legs form a wonderful color combination.
We have a large amount of this model chair available, which makes this set perfect for a large interior project.
Carlo Scarpa (1906-1978) and Afra Scarpa (1937-2011) were trained as architects and influenced by various themes. Their main focus was the material itself followed by nature, Venetian and Japanese culture.
