This boomerang sofa has a unique shape with sinuous lines which create a monumental and inviting look. The L-shaped sofa is a great addition to a living area or dining area, it vibrates a contemporary, cosmopolitan look. This piece is finished on a bottom with a walnut edge and small legs that support the piece. Upholstered with luxurious green wool that adds a cozy appeal.
Adrian Pearsall (1925-2011), trained as an architectural engineer, was a sailor and interior designer. In 1952, Pearsall opened his own furniture company Craft Associates. Pearsall designed some of the most sensuous, gracious midcentury design pieces around, sharing many of the design aesthetics by Vladimir Kagan. His pieces are characterized by flamboyant curves, upswept shapes and stretched proportions.
