Angelo Brotto for Esperia, pendant light, glass, brass, Italy, 1970s

Angelo Brotto's design is elegant by all means. On a brass fixation hangs a glass latern that is decorated with vertical lines. The handblown Murano glass shows true craftsmanship. On a long brass stem hangs a light bulb that is surrounded by a round curtain of little glass pearls.

Angelo Brotto (1914-2002) was a designer from Venice. During the 1960-1970s he collaborated with Esperia, a glass maker from Murano. It was during these years Brotto became recognized as an excellent lighting designer. This lamp is an excellent example of his wonderful creativity. Please note that we have a second lamp in stock.
