Acton Bjørn Extremely Rare Tray Table in Teak and Brass
Acton Bjørn, tray table or serving table, teak, brass, leather, Denmark, 1930s
This unique tray table has a splendid construction consisting of a tray that is attached to the base with leather straps. The tray is equipped with handles allowing the user to serve the beverages and snacks in a comfortable and easy way. Additionally, Bjørn added two wooden platforms with differently sized holes. A nice detail are the wooden joints which show the high level of craftsmanship this serving table was made with. The top rests on elegantly build outward-facing legs and are adorned with brass at all ends, which gives this whole unit a luxury appeal.
