The chairs are characterized by a refined geometric backrest with vertical spindles, executed in finely crafted mahogany. Their slender proportions lend the overall composition a notable sense of lightness and structural clarity. The seats retain their original cognac-coloured Niger leather upholstery, which has developed a rich and appealing patina over time. Brass rivets along the sides of each seat provide a subtle decorative accent.

Jacob Kjaer (1896-1957) started working as a furniture designer in 1915.
