De Sede 'DS-47' Two Seat Sofa in Brown Leather

Sale price£2,907.05

De Sede, 'DS-47' sofa, leather, Switzerland, 1970s.

Highly comfortable DS47 sofa in a patinated cognac brown leather by De Sede. The design is simplistic, yet very modern. This design is slightly curved in its form, which emphasizes the comfortable character of this sofa. This piece of furniture is designed to provide an ultimate level of comfort due to the thick seating cushions and the very large seat.

De Sede once started as a saddler's workshop in Klingnau, Switzerland. Slowly, the company widened their Scope and committed themselves to transforming the best possible leather into seating furniture. In 1965 the family-run business grew into a professional company and their name was De Sede AG. DeSede products are detail-obsessed with the main focus on the people who own and use them. Therefore, all the DeSede items are made out of the best materials which results in durability and comfort.

Please note that this item is in good, used condition. The leather shows a patina that matches the age and wear of the sofa. In addition, surface scratches are present. Reupholstery or restoration is possible before shipping by our experienced craftspeople in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery or restoration is possible as well.
