Mario Bellini for Artemide, table lamp, lacquered metal, fabric, Italy, 1978.
Quirky and quite unique, this small version of the 'circo' table lamp designed by Mario Bellini, is a true example of Bellini's original approach towards furniture design. The shade, which insinuate a circus tent likeness, and therefore is named 'circo', is executed in off-white and grey fabric. Its white lacquered base contains four light bulbs which create a warm hue.
