Sofa, leather, oak, Denmark, 1960s

This classic sofa of Danish origin features modest and subtle lines and shapes that emphasize the clear construction of the design. A nice detail is how the back elegantly runs over into the armrests, developing in a curved shape at both ends. The sofa rests on sleek legs executed in oak, which complements the color of the leather upholstery that is in rich patinated condition. Overall, the style is simple and understated and strongly reminds of the designs of Børge Mogensen (1914-1972).

Please note that we advise reupholstery before use. This can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsman in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
