De Sede, modular sofa, model ‘DS-76’, leather, Switzerland, 1970s

This high-quality sectional sofa designed by De Sede in the 1970s contains one corner element, one regular element and two outer elements with two moveable cushions, making it possible to arrange this sofa to your own wishes. The design is characterized by round edges that are noticeable in the shape of the black leather upholstery that underline the clear structured design. Moreover, this piece of furniture is designed to provide an ultimate level of comfort due to the thick seating cushions and the very deep and large seat.

De Sede once started as a saddler's workshop in Klingnau, Switzerland. Slowly, the company widened their scope and committed themselves to transforming the best possible leather into seating furniture. In 1965 the family-run business grew into a professional company and their name was De Sede AG. De Sede products are detail-obsessed and are completely made and focused on the people who use them. Therefore, all the DeSede items are made out of the best materials which results in durability and comfort.

Please note that the leather is patinated and shows signs of wear and use.
