Dining chairs, oak, fabric, France, 1940s.
Large set of twelve late French Art Deco dining chairs. These dining chairs in solid oak feature beautiful sculptural legs and frame. Its armrests are rounded and contribute to its overall elegant design. The two vertical divergent slats of the backrest smoothly runs over into the slightly outward legs. The upholstery has a nice geometrical pattern executed in soft red and beige colors. In absence of decorative details, the design convinces visually through the well-balanced appearance and the stabile construction.
Please note that we advise reupholstery before use. This can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsman in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
